Today is the day...

Well today is the day... We went to the doctor last Sat. and the baby is looking right on track not too big, not too small, for 20 weeks. I am 21 weeks today. Dr. Adam measured all the bones, brain, and we looked at the heart and where able to see all 4 chambers so that is very good! She sent orders for us to get the echo cardiogram at TX Children's. They called yesterday and want us to come in today. So we will be going to the medical center to the new Women's Pavilion and they said it will take about two hours the sonographer will do the ultrasound on just the baby's heart and then the cardiologist will meet with us so we will know the results of everything they look at today. Really ready to get this over with and glad we are able to see them so quickly. Deep down inside I feel like everything is OK. Just working on my nerves. Trying to get myself ready and prepare myself for what they might say. I am over halfway through the pregnancy and yes it is still a girl! :) I still ask Dr. Adam every time I see her :) I am saying prayers and leaving everything in God's hands. I would appreciate any prayers or support as we get through this tough time and hopefully move on with nothing but good news!!!!

On a lighter note we will be heading to the zoo tomorrow for the Dinosaur exhibit and they are bringing in snow!!!! So I am really looking forward to taking Steven Richard! Then tomorrow evening my Grandma had a mass in honor of my Grandpa and there will be a choir and dinner afterwards so I am looking forward to that. Then we are almost done with our garage project! Hoping to be able to finish going through the last few shelves and maybe get a small shed up in the back to store some of our tools. So should be a fun and productive weekend to say the least. Hoping we can get away next weekend for a little R&R. Hope everyone has a nice weekend as it looks like the weather should be great and the sun should be shining!
