The first planet we found was Venus! :)
Here is my 10" Orion telescope I got for Christmas from Steven we brought it up to the observatory and volunteered to let people check it out! It was fun we did not leave till 10 pm! We found Venus, Mars, and Saturn!!!! Saturn was awesome we saw the planet and the rings! Can not wait for another clear Sat. night! We will be back! Since I can not do my volunteer diving in San Marcos this year (being with child) I thought taking up the solor system would be just as interesting just on another level! This first camping trip in a tent with Steven Richard turned out great!
This was the best camping trip ever. We had alot of fun. I am glad that we are volunteering at the Observatory many people got to see Saturn through Stephanie's telescope and they were all excited about seeing it.
